Create a class and let students in
Start a class, share its code or link, and approve the students who ask to join.
Updated
Create the class
Step 1: Open Classes and press Start a class.
Step 2: Fill in Class name, Institution and, if you like, Term, then press Create the class.
Share the code
The class page shows its Join code and Copy invite link. A code only asks to join — it travels, from a lecture hall to a group chat — so nobody is in until you let them in.
Replace the code stops the old code and link working; everybody already in keeps their seat.
Let students in
Whoever asked is under Waiting to join. Approve or Decline each one, or Approve all — oldest first, as far as the seats go. Declining is not final: they can ask again.
Remove takes a student out of the class. Their work stays theirs, and they can ask to join again.
How many
| Free | Extended | |
|---|---|---|
| Classes you teach | 3 | 20 |
| Students in a class | 30 | 250 |
| Assignments in a class | 12 | 60 |
| Problems in an assignment | 5 | 20 |
These are the defaults; whoever runs this instance may set others. A limit only stops something new — nothing is taken away — and you do not take a seat in your own class. To ask for the extended allowance, write from For employers.
