Use hints, the solution and the mentor
Hints cost a stated share of XP, the solution opens when you pass, and the mentor guides without giving the answer.

Hints
Hints open in order, and each shows its cost before you open it. They lower the XP you earn, never your score, and one you opened before shows again at no cost.
The solution
The Solution tab unlocks when you pass. Give up and show me opens it sooner, at the price of the problem's XP.
The mentor
Mentor, at the top of the editor, is an AI that guides without solving. It looks at the data, the requirements and your earlier attempts before it answers, and its hints climb one level for each question you ask on a problem:
- 1 · Conceptual
- A question about the relationship at stake.
- 2 · Direction
- The family of tools to reach for, not which one.
- 3 · Function
- The one function to read about.
- 4 · Example
- The idea on a small example, on made-up data.
Three failed submissions start you a level higher. It never writes the query or script, gives the result or states an expected value; asked for the answer, it says it will not and gives the next hint. Once you pass, it walks you through an ideal solution.
How many questions
Five questions a problem and twenty a day, unless this instance sets others. The daily count comes back at midnight UTC, and the Hints tab is always there.
